The Puget Sound Fireboat Foundation is a volunteer-based not-for-profit organization that owns and operates the Duwamish, an historic fireboat built in 1909. The fireboat was formerly part of the Seattle Fire Department’s fireboat fleet, and it serves as a backup vessel to local firefighters. The local chapter of the Sea Scouts also uses the fireboat for activities. Click the link below to learn more about the vessel.
