On June 30, 1976, Congress created the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park, one of the most unusual facilities in the National Park Service. Located in an historic building at Seattle’s Pioneer Square, the NHP features exhibits devoted solely to the Gold Rush and its impact on the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
